Harbor Freight has new product, VAPOR RUST, remove tanks add product, rotate, let sit several hours to dissolve rust. Drain fill with gas to stop flash rust , Watch for leaks for a day or so. Any small leak either use JB Weld and steal patch or have them brazed. Find an AP that will work with you, flx it and fly it.

Don't be too negative on your bird . . . . first thing I would do is call our Tech support guys ,

The main item I see is possible more corrosion if the fuel tanks show significant amounts . . . At the very worst there is still significant value.

Hello Don, My mistake, should read $444 for 3 tires and tubes. Aircraft Spruce &
Specialty offers several packages. AIR TRAC & AIR HAWK etc.

About $444 for 4 ply and about $454 for 6 play tires.
I will go back and correct my post. I think my original figure was for 2 main tires as that is what I am doing next, have already done my nose wheel 3 weeks ago. But if your tubes are still good, 2 6.00 x6 and a 5.00 x 5 can still be done for about my original figure of $250
As for your nose wheel, 5.00x4, makes me glad that mine is a 5.00x5. double nose fork. Skygeek has your tire for about $399
but DESSER retreads sells it for about $222.

Where did you get the 3 tires and tubes for $250? When I bought my 415C in 2016 it needed a nose wheel tire and the only place I could find a 500X4 tire cost me $320 (no tube). It still has the single fork.

I would strongly recommend NOT sloshing the fuel tanks. That stuff will eventually slough off, blocking the fuel lines and turning your Ercoupe into a glider. The best way to handle fuel tanks is to rebuild them. Safe Flight in Dayton, Ohio, does that.
