The cabin heat inlet is off the back of the baffle array, not quite visible in my pic. My baffle actually has two outlets on the left side, one 2" for the cabin heat and a 1" that has airflow directed at the alternator. I'm thinking about partially closing off the cabin heat since #2 cylinder tends to run warmer that the other three so might benefit from a little extra air.

John, Thank you for your response and picture. What I still need to know is where does the tubing that connects TO the heat muff come from. Is it from the LH engine baffle (can't see in your pic) OR the inlet on the nose bowl which is where I have it during summer.

I'm not sure about the M-10 but if the routing is the same as an Alon the scat tubing makes a U-bend from the top left of the exhaust heater shroud down to the heater inlet control on the firewall.

As title stated, what is the proper routing for the scat tubing for cabin heat in an M10?
Thanks!
