That's good to hear. I've heard it is also hard to install. Paying that much for the privilege of being frustrated is something I can do without!

				When I upgraded my C75 to a C85 I did not add the extra baffle. Vernon told me it wasn’t necessary. That was 1400 hours ago, and the engine still runs great. The wording on TC-718 is really convoluted, and it can be interpreted to say that baffle is only needed with certain propellers, none of which are still made.

				Hello All,
If I understand correctly, the C85 in the Ercoupe needs the oil baffle to help keep it cool. I don't have that, and Univair's costs quite a bit.
Is it really necessary in an area like Washington?
Are there alternatives that don't cost $1250?
