which seat do you have? the seat pan is held in place by 4 screws and 3 removable piano hinge pins, if you have a fixed seat back, you have to unlace it from the frame. if your seat backs fold forward, there are 3 clevis pins or bolts that come out.

I have a 1948 Ercoupe 415-E and I’m having a beacon installed in the belly. The mechanic is unsure how to remove the seat frame to do the wiring. Anyone have experience or ideas?
