The Ed Burkhead site has the best description of props that I have seen so far.

Is there such a thing as a "composite propeller" STC'd or 337'd for Ercoupes? Any advantage in weight-saving or W. & B. over a metal prop? How do I know if my prop is a "climb prop", or a "cruise" prop, and does it really even matter? Thanks. Dennis
