I think AOPA has a library that has information on shared ownership There are LOTS of things to consider - like how to save up for annuals and overhauls, scheduling time, insurance, and so on. Just don't let it get in the way of your friendship!

Looking at buying a Coupe with another pilot - he'll be in one city, I'll be in another, airplane hangared somewhere in the middle.  Looking for tips and traps of multiple ownership - registration, insurance, costs, legal documents, the works.  Thanks!!
