Congrats, you're going to love it. Got mine in July, 1946c like yours. Haven't closed the canopy yet. 30hrs since mid July.

You mentioned "Don McDonald" but others may not know that he is the owner of "Alpha Aviation" and a strong supporter of our (and other) aircraft - a good guy.

I own my first Ercoupe! was created by Chris Doggett
1946 415-C ( confirmed with the help of Don McDonald. ) Serial # 876. C85 F. I’m a tail wheel guy but I’ve been eyeballing these little planes for years. I discovered that I enjoy planes that fly with windows,doors, or and canopies open. Anyways, thought I should try and connect with other owners. Regards.
