Just a suggestion . . . . DON'T METALIZE YOUR WINGS !!! No real Plusses to matter, weight and speed penalty significant.

				Hi Roger:
Just a personal comment on your desiring to metalize the wings on your coupe.
Taking everything else into consideration, the weight penalty will be with you forever.
Todays fabric coverings are so superior.
Rudder pedals. Just another weight penalty. I bought an Erco 415C a while back that
was so-called 3 control. First thing I did was remove the rudder pedals. Gained 7 lbs. payload and
unrestricted leg-room as well as unrestricted access to the brake pedal.
If you are very near sea level the weight penalties are less important than people who live at 3000 feet plus.
Enjoy your pursuit of having fun in a very fun aeroplane !

I have the plans if anyone wants a copy, 1 page. I'm also looking for the plans/paperwork for the rudder pedals.

Sorry, I'm afraid Univair owns the copywrite, and I have not seen any plans in the public domain. Besides, it would take several hours to run to Kinko's to copy them, package, and mail them. Time and mileage would add up to more than what Univair is charging.

				Univair sells an STC
www.univair.com/ercoupe/view-all/stc-sa3...ng-metalization-stc/
I bought it just to get the plans and instructions. Plus, I had no record of an STC when the wings were metalized in the 70's, I wanted to close that loop.
