I had a friend at the local FSDO search thru their databases and it looks like the paperwork is lost to time, there is no record of it in any FAA databases. Now what happens when the FAA loses paperwork.....

if it is orphaned, it will not appear on the searches, I tried up upload a copy of my 337, but it is too large.

Is the STC not on file with the FAA? I look them up on the website.....

that works if they sent copies of the STC along with the 337, which they did not do. I actually have 337s for my plane that do not show up on the CD

Get the FAA CD on the plane and it'll have all paperwork filed on that plane.

Looking for STC paperwork, Motorola Alternator conversion was created by Matt Gunsch
My plane was modified with a Motorola Alternator by STC SA-38-7CE in 1966, I am looking for any of the paperwork for this. The alternator (A12NX550) and regulator (TVR12XI) do not show up in any internet searches. I am planning on replacing the engine mount on my plane and while the engine is off, I would like to have the alternator gone thru.
