The welting isn't all that hard to install either - tho it doesn't always stay for more than a couple or three years without a regluing! (the tracks at the rear of the windscreen and the rear edge of the windows) I used silicone caulk, clear, and held it in place to cure with slices of corrugated box cardboard. Worked well. If you have a time keeping the windows closed this winter, I've used a plastic spring clamp from Lowe's, on the tabs at the front of the window, but am now using velcro, the pile, with stickum on it, on the tabs, and a nonsticky strip to hold them - a bit more length than needed to crack the thing open at the top. For a bit more vent, I usually just slide the pair of windows to the left, leaving an inch or two open at the bottom of the right window. (and one window on top, in warm times, after having had a couple of caps blow off!) 'coupes ARE wonderful!

Thank you so much. I'm not speaking for everyone, but when you're an old man & don't do this type of thing, ( typing on a forum) much......it's refreshing to have people who can help you find things you need. I'm very happy and thankful for the help here on this site. A big THANK YOU for each and everyone of you that helped me through this NEW airplane I purchased and just love to death!

I took my seat out today. What a mess, I'm not sure when the junk was cleaned out last! But anyway, I'm still at the airport & haven't looked yet. Can you buy the felt channel that the Windows ride on? For some reason, the Windows run out of the track at the bottom and right in the middle at the top it's all broken up. Can't slide the window all the way up through the middle?
