Thanks Warren.  I see now the service manual doesn't say to remove the exhaust.  Must be a carry over from 415 service verbiage.

No, with the most C90 there is a an eye on top of the engine to lift the eng. with.  You do not have a wrap-around exhaust like the 415s. So it is a disconnect and remove. Just be sure the tail is supported when you pull the eng off the mount... It gets tail heavy fast.

I need to remove the C-90 from my M10.

The M10 service manual outlines removing the engine mount with the engine, then removing the engine mount.   I would guess the Alon service manual calls the same process, but I do not know.

I understand this will allow me to inspect the engine mount, but other than that is there a reason to remove the engine mount with the engine?  Seems like unnecessary work.
