Tire wear Alon / M10s with steel spring gear

There is a service bulletin on adjusting the toe for the spring gear. My Alon tends to wear the inside of the left main but the measurements seem to be spot on. Oh well…

My former A2 had a left tire which would ware on the outer edge. you could sit in the hangar looking out at her and see the toe out of the wheel. My hangar mate and I walked to out see what was happening, we found shims between the gear and the axal. It was a bear getting that much toe out fixed, so we called Univair and ordered shims. Just install steel gears on my E model and see that same problem here again.
