Replied by Mike Then on topic M10 Original Yoke Decal
For what it is worth, I searched a number of early 70s articles and concluded the production cadets had the yoke decal with white lettering/emblem and black background. The M10 prototype sported the reverse. The emblem/lettering appears to be pretty accurate, and I'm referencing the parts manual mostly.
I did wind up using the prototype markings.

Is anyone aware what the original M10 control wheel decal looked like?
Between the M10 parts manual, a few 1970 magazine articles, and the book "Last of the Ercoupes The Mooney M-10 Cadet," I've come up with the attached. But I've never seen an original control wheel decal. In fact, in 5 years of ownership I've only seen 2 other M10s!
I'm working with Chris at AeroGraphics with the attached draft and wondering if anyone can offer further advice before I go final. Thanks!
