Fuselage tank overflow elbow missing...

Just as a reference, here's what my fuel indicator looks like when the fuselage tank is "full" i.e. fuel is flowing out through the overflow pipe, sitting level on the ground. 

I have an almost new plastic float and this is as high as it gets, unless you're in the air and put the nose up! 
   
I put that little black strip of tape on the glass tube as a reference to the"full" level. Incidentally, there's still almost 2.5 gallons remaining in the fuselage tank when the float gauge bottoms out. 

That's EXACTLY what mine looks like... the fuel pumping around was just obscuring it.

 

This is a 415C but it's a 6 gallon tank. My "in" from the pump and overflow "out" are both 90-degree fittings that enter the tank through the rear wall.

The "out" to the gascolator is a straight fitting on the bottom of the tank.

Cool video but I don't think it's the  415C's 5 gal tank model because it seems that the flow going upwards like a fountain.  is that coming from underneath or is it the angle of the video?
