Fuselage tank overflow elbow missing...

Not sure if this will help, but here's a very short borescope video of my fuselage tank, taken when I was testing the new electric fuel pump.

You can see the input and overflow elbow.

Matt is the header tank the Alon Tank? Not a 415 thank.

I've changed my gauge float from cork to plastic one!

 

Float cork is in need of replacement. Two diff tank what is your Coupes Serial number 2623 they changed tank for the header , one of the dif another is the filler neck placement. newer one the neck is more forward.

On My 415G, the return is a aluminum tube that has a joggle in it so it is higher than the inlet, and it's opening is closer to the filler neck.
