Little Red is home

I got to pick up my Ercoupe yesterday. Fresh annual done and flew her 2 hours home at 80kts. What a lovely feeling taking off from a grass strip, then enjoying your first flight in your first aircraft. Going back to the airport today to give her a well deserved bath then take her back in the air. Oh and my first landing in my coupe (I have 10 total in other Ercoupes) literally was the best landing I have had, I heard the tires bark on touch down with zero bounce and it was smooth a silk. I am sure it may never happen again.
