Me at 220, CFI at 180, plus 100 lbs of fuel puts us at 1436lbs. Good to go?? Thanks for the reassurance. i am soooo anxious to get the coupe in the air by myself; however, want to be safe and comfortable flying her!!

If your engine is healthy don’t worry. Assume 300 pounds of people and 100 pounds of fuel, about 17 gallons. It’ll handle more than that.

New to the Ercoupe and starting to get training: over 1800 hours in Bonanzas. Concerned of flying with my CFI who is 180 lbs and I am 220. Plane is a 415E with C85 engine and IA90 71-48 prop. Would like to carry at least 10 gallons. Aircraft EW is 936. 1400 lbs gross wt. This presupposes a standard day temperature wise! Thanks
