My 415-C service manual calls for 20 lbs air pressure for the nose tire and 17 lbs for the mains. That's the air pressure I've been using and it's worked well.

Try 20 PSI in the main gear tires and 17-18 PSI in the nose tire. I’ve been using that for years and it gives a decent roll with a minimum of shimmy.

Bill,
My guess is that it depends on the number of ply's your tire has. Desser Tire and Rubber has a chart that prescribes the psi for specific tire types. I know this because I am in the middle of replacing the nose and both mains due to dry-rot!
