Center section AD inspection

Facing the big center section AD inspection next year. How have most people chose to comply? As I understand it you can either install  a bunch of inspection plates or remove the wings to complete the inspection. I understand that the inspection panel method requires a high dollar scope and light and not many shops have the specified models. So is the consensus wings off or inspection plates?
