Same here! At some point my coupe has the nose bowl replaced, and the bottom of the cowl sides have a long reinforcing patch due to the usual stress cracking. Due to one or both of these jobs the fastener alignment is better on one side than on the other.
I reckon that someday I'll put in a new nose bowl (the replacement was obviously... well-used) and maybe cut off and replace the cowl reinforcing strip and see if I can get the alignment better than the last guy. But that's all going to wait for that "someday" new paint job project.

Mine are size 5 camlocs. Not DZUS type. Are your camlocs or DZUS? My camloc style we're extra -5’s, I happen to have the exact amount needed in my toolbox.  Cad Plated Wing Stud-5

I replaced straight slotted on one side and cross tip on the other side with wing-nut style. Will look at what size they are today and post it later.
